3D Printed Mold (PETG) – Entry Level or Low Volume

These are 3D printed molds for guys getting into forming or running lower volume setups.

Let’s be clear up front:

 These are NOT a replacement for aluminum or HDPE molds.

They’re built for:

• new makers wanting to try vacuum forming
• hobbyists
• small batch work

How They’re Built

Printed in PETG with a high infill and reinforced internal structure so they hold up well under normal use.

They’re solid—but they’re still 3D printed. Use them like it.

How We Run Them

To keep them working and extend life:

• hit them with a dry lube spray before pressing
• blow them off with compressed air between presses
• don’t try to run them like a CNC'd HDPE mold. 

What They’re Good For

• learning your setup
• testing new gun models
• small runs without dropping big money on tooling

Bottom Line

If you’re just getting started or don’t need a full production mold, these will get the job done.

If you’re planning to crank out 50 presses back-to-back every day…

 you already know you need HDPE or aluminum.
